Today I stumbled upon this article on NPR. A couple of thoughts: 1) I must have this book! 2) isn't it funny how one little thing can remind you of how much you enjoy something? Whether it be a favorite band, a time period, a certain fashion style .... or all of the above.
So in light of my renewed love for all things Beatles and sixties here are some of my favorites from that epoch and modern finds inspired by that time
2. Soft prints perfect for a flower-power picnic, available at Modcloth.
3. The iconic Ray-Ban Wayfarers, worn by everyone from Bob Dylan to Audrey Hepburn and James Dean to Mr. President.
4. Mr. President, JFK with his daughter Caroline. Adorable, no?
5. Flowy neutral tops ideal for even the most hippie outdoor concerts.
6. The beautiful, and talented, Melanie in the cover of her album... One of my favorite songs ever is this one by her.
"I ride my bike, I roller skate, don't drive no car
Don't go too fast, but I go pretty far
For somebody who don't drive
I been all around the world
Some people say, I done all right for a girl..."
