It's been quite a while since I did the Sunday links post but it's one of my favorite things to write about. Compiling favorite articles and places of inspiration seems to bring a positive side to the start of a new work week . So here are some of the posts and news that caught my eye this week:
-Perhaps not since Jackie O. has there been a First Lady that attracted so much attention from the fashion world as Mrs. Obama and this look back of her best black tie looks demonstrates the attention is well deserved. Personally, I love that she takes some fashion risks and goes for young designers such as Jason Wu or Prabal Gurung.
- If you are planning a little winter get away T-Magazine has some great, luxurious and exotic ideas, here. My top picks: Buenos Aires and India.
- This article by NPR shows us a different side of India... an illuminating account of the Lives of India's Street Kids...
-... if you would like to learn more about these children and volunteer in some way, Salaam Baalak is a wonderful organization.
- And since this post has focused on travel and India, these images are astounding... I highly recommend Trekearth for a trip around the world from the comfort of your own computer.
So here's to a wonderful week filled with lots of peace of mind.
